We use what's known as geolocation technology to make sure you're in New Jersey before you play. On a Mac or PC, it's a simple browser plugin that takes just a few seconds to install. On a mobile device, there's nothing for you to install, so you're set up right from the start (just make sure Location Services are on).

Why do I need to install the geolocation plugin?
Under New Jersey law, only players physically present in New Jersey can play at MoheganSunCasino.com. With the simple geolocation plugin, we're able to quickly check your location before you play.

Where can I find the plugin?
When you load a real money game for the first time, the geolocation plugin will begin to download. You'll need to have pop-ups enabled first, so see our section on how to enable pop-ups if you need help.

Pop-ups are definitely enabled, but the geolocation plugin didn't install. What's going on?

Why am I being asked to download the plugin again? I already did that.
It's possible that the plugin didn't finish installing or there was an error during installation. It's also possible that you're using an unsupported browser. We recommend trying again using Google Chrome. If you're still having a problem, check your anti-virus software. It's possible that it's blocking plugins from being installed.

I'm on Google Chrome. The plugin is definitely installed, but I still can't be located.
You need to enable the plugin first. Make sure the plugin is enabled for use. If you're using Google Chrome, go to your address bar and type chrome:\\plugins. Then, check the Always Allow box next to the GeoComply plugin.

I can't find the geolocation plugin under Plugin Settings in Google Chrome.
While the plugin might have downloaded successfully, it's possible that it's not yet installed. In Google Chrome, click the setting symbol at the top right (it looks like a little wrench), then click Download to see all your downloads. Look for the geolocation plugin and double-click it to install.

How do I enable pop-ups?
Enable pop-ups in Google Chrome:

1. Click the alert icon. You'll see it to the right of the address.
2. Choose Always allow pop-ups from....
3. Click Done.

If you still don't see an alert icon, here's what you need to do:

1. Copy our URL.
2. Click the Chrome menu. Just look for the three horizontal lines in the top-right of your browser.
3. Click Show Advanced Settings. You'll find it at the bottom of the list.
4. Choose Privacy.
5. Click Content Settings.
6. Scroll down to the pop-ups section, and then click Manage Exceptions.
7. Paste our URL into the Hostname Pattern box.
8. Click Done.

Enable popups in Internet Explorer:

1. Copy our URL.
2. Click Tools (in some versions of Internet Explorer, look for the small cog).
3. Choose Internet Options.
4. Click the Privacy tab at the top of the new pop-up window.
5. Click Settings under the Pop-up Blocker section.
6. Paste our URL into the "Address of website to allow" box.
7. Click Add.

Enable pop-ups in Firefox:

1.  Copy our URL.
2. Click on the Firefox menu.
3. Choose Preferences.
4. Click Content panel.
5. Choose Block pop-up Windows.
6. Choose Exceptions.
7. Paste our URL into the box.
8. Click Allow.

Enable pop-ups in Safari?
To enable popups in Safari, press Command + Shift + K at the same time while on a site. Doing so should bring up your pop-up preferences.
